I don't know anything about the NBA, but it usually becomes tolerable around playoffs. Who are the teams to watch, who is going to win it all, and are there any interesting storylines? 3/20/2006 2:35:12 AM |

teams to watch will most likely be pistons and heat in the east, and the spurs and suns in the west. some think the mavericks or pacers might have a chance, but those are the main 4. some interesting storylines: there was much debate whether the suns would be able to stay in the playoff hunt without amare, but they've been dominant this season. if he manages to come back for the playoffs, how will he affect their chemistry? will it help or hurt? generally, a player like him comin back would be a help, but its hard to imagine them bein much better than they are right now. also, the pistons and spurs played last year so there's a chance for a possible rematch. also, the heat took on some vets like the lakers a few years ago in the hopes of winning it all, so they'll be ready to go. there's some other stories for the lower seeds, like the lakers and cavaliers, but those are the most interesting i think.

in the east
Detroit's dominance?
the Heat's recent surge of 15 out of 16 challenging that dominance?
Lebron and the Cavs choking in the first round?
How many sub .500 teams get in?
in the west
the mavs and avery johnson's road to...THE FINALS?
the spur's title defense?
can Amare come back and lead the Suns to the fucking finals or will he fuck the chemistry?
can the CLIPPERS actually contend?
artest vs. kobe in the petitioning for playoff spots?
