I wonder how much extra money we are paying for this PR blitz, becuase I doubt we need to be reminded that there is gas for sale.

Of course its more likely that just that the oil industry decided their problem wasnt that they are fucking evil, its that they have a public relations issue. So they made a bunch of really, really, really gay commercials.

Well, if the oil industry does have an "issue" it is poor public relations. They obviously have had no trouble figuring out how to make money and doing so without government assistance.

So, as far as Evil goes, they are saints. In so far as they have requested and received government assistance, the government is evil.

BP would tell you that they are not in the oil business. They are in the energy business and oil based energy is on its way out. They want to be the leaders in alternative energy.

my carbon footprint is 10 tonnes

with 2 cars, using metro, and a house with a gas furnace

12 but i'm not sure if that's for the total in my household of 3 people or just me....

It's probably a bit better than that just becuase i didnt mark recycling because we just started and are working up off recycling none to whatever we have room to stack.
