i saw an ad a while back when getting my oil changed that was like 350 dollars and it said it replaced like spark plugs, gave you like 3 or 4 different types of flushes, checked your brakes and shocks, etc.(it did a lot more things i just cant remember them all, i'd say about 15 or so things)
i'm not sure of the list verbatim, but it was basically was one of those tune up/maintaince type things for you car, i'm just wondering if 350 is good for that or if its a rip off
350 dollars would go a long way in gas
car has about 93 thousand miles on it 3/29/2006 2:23:04 AM |

Let's put it this way; if these things haven't been done before, they should be anyway;
-trans fluid flush -coolant flush/system refresh -spark plugs/wires -timing mechanism (chain, belt, etc.) -brakes (obviously) -engine belts/applicable tensioners
So yes, 350 doesn't seem ALL that unreasonable. BUT, it depends on what's included with the deal, more or less.
Besides, as mentioned above, zxappeal could probably do what you need for less..

chances are it doenst include timing belt.
probably just plugs, wires, and fluid flushes (coolant, oil, brake maybe) 3/29/2006 2:05:27 PM |

All of that is very easy to change... not worth $350 in my opinion. 3/29/2006 2:12:35 PM |

for that price timing belt def aint included....thatll run around $500 alone (at least in the 6 cyl it will) b/c it requires replacing the water pump and hoses and a ton of disassembly to get to 3/30/2006 3:58:16 PM |

correct. i'm willing to bet it's just plugs/wires and flushing a few fluids 3/30/2006 4:00:40 PM |
