I know this is a long shot, but does anybody here know of some available housing in or around Newport News? I'll be co-oping at the shipyard this summer and the place I stayed in last time is no longer available.thanks

Do you know what dept you'll be in? Which one were you in last time? I was there last fall, lived on jefferson ave. by the best buy. There are wayyyyy too many sketch places up there, but me and my roomate are probably gonna be staying near the same area for the summer and fallp.s. Try the co-op housing exchange on the co-op website. I think hondaguy had one listed. maybe not though[Edited on March 31, 2006 at 12:50 AM. Reason : ps]

Last time I shared a house in Hampton on Victoria Blvd. It was great because I was so close to work and there was no traffic. I would love a place with those same qualities, but I realize that'll be hard to come by.

yeah . . . i have a room i am trying to rent for the summer. It's On Nettles Dr up by Oyster Point. About 8 miles to work, takes between 15 and 20 minutes to get there. Straight drive on Warwick basically. My roommate is also a co-op from State. Let me know if your interested or want more info.you don't have to be in an "office"I worked in O41 my first rotation and was out actually in the yard for some part of every day, some times for the whole day.[Edited on March 31, 2006 at 9:11 AM.
