Man, that was a long time ago. We had some good times when he was our coach. Remember way when he danced at the Red/White game. That was fun.

Notice I wasn't talking about his coaching.

I just seriously hated his retarded offense which gave us 0 offensive boards and how everyone assumed that we were going to make a shot so they'd run back down to the other end of the floor before it had even dropped

AGREED
ANY SUCCESS that this basketball team has had in the past 5-10 years and any success it has in the next 5-10 is all HERB.
Fuck the nay sayers
I wish him the best of luck as ASU, I hope he wins a title there. He's a class act and a great coach.4/2/2006 8:48:44 PM |

IMHO, the offense he chose was for teams that lack athleticism. We were not in that position. Plus, I certianly don't think you can win just totally giving up on getting rebounds.4/2/2006 8:59:48 PM |

Nobody's pissed that Herb brought us from nothing to "something".
We're pissed that from years 5-10 he never raised the bar from where it stopped at year 5. We want to move up a notch once again. 4/2/2006 10:15:21 PM |

Herb did us a great service, we are a competitive program for the most part. Now we want to get into the upper echelon of college basketball. While Herb did some great things, no reason for us to think he will get us there. By upper echelon, I don't mean 20+ wins with half versus rpi 150+ schools.4/2/2006 10:42:57 PM |
