Don't need a whole bed, just the basic frame that holds up a matress without a headboard or footboard.

if you look at the mattress ads they send in the mail ALL THE TIME some will offer a great deal on the bed frame in hopes of selling you a mattress. Just check the fine print to make sure you can get the price w/o a mattress
