Yeah we've really been meaning to change those icons - they were never meant to be there permanently and they've somehow stayed up since the original days of 'NCSU Forum'. When we redo the icons we'll look into tracking more information.

We already have a column for "popular", the number of posts. There should be a column for number of posts you posted in the thread, and how many of them you havent read. Dont combine 3 things into one icon.

What is the point of having to glance across THREE SEPARATE COLUMNS to see information that can be concisely communicated in a single icon?
