searched for similar suggestions but didn't find anything...
instead of changing my age every year, it would be easier to enter my birthday and have the computar do the calculations instead. The age can be displayed to everyone else, but that way I don't ever have to edit my profile again 4/7/2006 2:45:06 PM |

Not that I have anything specific against TDub, but if I'm required to submit personal information of any sort, its probably not going to be 100% accurate. As in, I'm at least eleventy billion years old. 4/7/2006 3:50:23 PM |

you are required to submit your age.
birthdays would just eliminate the need to update your age from year to year. 4/7/2006 4:17:03 PM |

if you actively use tdub, then you know how to update your age without alot of work or confusion. replacing the 1 in 21 with a 2 isn't really any more work than going in and typing xx/xx/xxxx. and changing your age can be a good time for reflection 4/7/2006 4:50:10 PM |

this could just be the start for a whole bunch of new features, like displaying whose birthday is today and see which tdub users have the same bday as you
using a birthday would only require me to change the age 1 more time in my lifetime whereas updating the age requires maintenance once a year to be accurate 4/7/2006 5:13:50 PM |

the point is not that it is hard, but inconvenient. it's not difficult to write the code to calculate the age and it could lead to other cool features in tww.
i dunno, i work for a company that focuses on increasing efficiency in the workplace and this kind of stuff catches my attention 4/10/2006 11:19:13 AM |

no, it's not.
making your case was less efficient than just changing your bday
not to mention that not a damn thing suggested in FF is ever implemented4/10/2006 7:45:55 PM |

what is inconvenient for me is going to be different than what is inconvenient for you. as far as expecting to get get implemented, i didn't expect anything to happen (but it stands a better chance of being done than if i didn't say anything at all).
with all that said, i still would like to see it implemented 4/10/2006 8:56:31 PM |

the lost time we all spend changing are ages is much larger than the time necessary to implement this change. but since jake & joe don't give a shit about us anymore, it will never happen. PROVE ME WRONG. 4/11/2006 12:19:39 AM |
