^yeah it was kinda fun weavin in and out...until there were cars in the other lane and you couldn't swerve into it to miss the potholes, or after a big rain and a new one appeared that you didn't know about and you would just nail the shit out of it

I never liked the people that would swerve into my lane to avoid a filled pothole. That always seems to irk me. Especially since I'm the one that gets the evil eye, I'm such a whore for driving on my side, what was I thinking?

haha, well i wasn't a line whore when people were coming the other way, and as a result i now have to hold my wheel 45 degrees to the right to drive straight.

it was most fun late at night on my Rebel 250 when one of those mystery pot holes would show up after a rain storm. The best one was the one right before the bridge over I40 that they kept filling with sand, but it kept getting bigger... completely forgot about that one one night... fun stuff. Dodging them was fun, too, though. Are they going to stop at the stoplight, or are they going to keep going? Anyone know?

Why they chose Trailwood to pave before Hillisborough/Dan Allen is baffling to say the least...

probably trying to avoid doing those during the school year...they'd be much better suited to repave those during summer when traffic is a lot lighter

is this like when they repaved lineberry a while ago and it ended up that they just put 2 inches of asphalt on top and it was broke 4 months later?

It might be because it is the city of Raleigh that maintains Trailwood versus the university that maintains Dan Allen. As for Hillsborough they might be waiting for school to be out as mentioned above.

anyone else notice how there are dips in the road from where the big potholes were already?, but still, it was N-I-C-E driving home for once.

But holy crap on a stick they need a warning when you get to the light and theres that huge bump now, there isnt one on the way in, but jeez, going onto Avent Ferry

yeah, the road is deffinately still bumpy from where they paved over holes. Those bumps are just going to become holes again.

to really fix all thats wrong with trailwood would require the road to be (at least partially) closed for a week, maybe more. then we'd all be back on here bitchin about how the road is closed.

^only the people who don't drive it every day would bitch. Then everyone would be saying how nice it is after it was done. Taking gorman only adds about 1 minute to the trip, if any.
