i can tell you this thing isn't worth $50. this site, along with several other similar sites you will see a free $500 and $1000 gift certificates to get people to come to info sessions, car dealerships, etc. they give you a $1000 shopping spree but you have to pay for shipping. all the items are cheap, crappy merchendise and the shipping is expensive. you'd end up spending $300 in shipping if you spent the whole gift cert.

these type of gift certs are pretty much a dime a dozen. you may not be able to pick them up at your local kmart, but you can get them pretty easily for nothing and in reality you would probably never use it anyway.

$1000 gift certificate programs are great promotional tools for businesses. If all you're doing is going to the business (the car dealership) to get something for nothing then why would you be upset? It's a marketing promotion, not a college student charity program.
