i've got a buttload of laptops for sale at wholesale prices.

- all come with 30 day warranty, AC adapter, battery, and fresh install of OS.
- upgrades on optical drives and memory available.
- NO haggling, the price is stated below each model. i will not budge, so don't ask. i will discount for quantities of 3 or more laptops on a case-by-case basis.
- i have many of each model.
- if you are interested in purchasing, please reply via PM. post all questions about systems in the thread so others can read them.

Those are above ebay prices on nearly everything, the Dell's are more than what newer versions cost new.

they are cheap when you consider the quality of a latitude or thinkpad, maybe more than buying outright but these were business leased computers in great condition. i've already had buyers, so they must not be that bad of a deal.

but let me reiterate, i will NOT bargain or haggle, they are sold AS IS, i will not pull parts.

thanks

^he means he will sell the whole laptop as one part.

But seriously, you could get better deals on new laptops for less than 600 bucks these days. Even grab up a new HP or Dell for 300-400 bucks during holidays. 20GB hard drives seem pretty small for business lease laptops. Also, do you include OS CD's or any other software with them?

Is there a Certificate of Authenticity to match each copy of Windows XP Professional?

and yeah, why would anyone spend $500 on a used C640 with no warranty when they could get this for $500 + tax?

I'm surprised seapunky's tits didn't allow her to get away with this...

but also

unless you can make more pulling those parts as upgrades, I take it?

I guess it's not that obvious, but beating people to surplus doesn't mean you can sell the same shit to them at a 59209% markup later. It just means they're going back to surplus next week and you're stuck with a shitload of stuff you didn't need. Why be greedy?

i dont think so.

Newest laptop you're likely to find at surplus is an early PII, and the odds are good that the battery won't hold a charge.

I don't necessarily mean NCSU surplus. It's pretty obvious that this is surplus from some organization.

There's nothing wrong with buying something for one price and reselling it for another. its called capitalism, not greed. And I don't know if I could call this type of equipment surplus, off-lease is normally more appropriate.

while i see nothing wrong with the process, the prices are way too high to sell here. anything pc can probably sell them for that much, but not here on this message board. craigslist would be the better option.

What's wrong is attempting to sell it on TWW where a large portion of the userbase is aware of the source.

1) how is that wrong? it may not be smart, but it isn't wrong.

2) And what do you think THE source is? Obviously they were purchased in bulk from a company/organizaion...that doesn't tell us what the exact source is.
