Model number DVD-HD841, this player is in brand new condition w/ remote (only 3 months old, still under warranty), and functions perfectly.
-Cutting edge Upconversion technology utilizes HDMI to convert standard DVD's to HD quality picture (from 480p to 720p/1080i), which delivers a much more vibrant and sharp picture compared to standard dvd players. This picture compares to what the brand new Blu-Ray and HD DVD players offer, at a fraction of the cost.
-Dolby Digital/DTS decoders, as well as an optical digital audio out, which means excellent, crisp sound.
-Sleek, lightweight, and very thin-- this DVD player fits perfectly into nearly any entertainment center
-Auto resume function that will resume the DVD/CD even after the player has been turned off for a period of time.
-Plays nearly all disc formats (DVD/CD/MP3 CD/DVD-R/CD-RW/DVD-A), and can run JPEG digital picture slideshows
-This player is a perfect match for any entertainment center, and a great pair up for an HDTV. I'd keep it if my friend hadn't just cut me a deal on a 6 disc DVD changer.

*Mine is the silver version, although the larger picture of the black player gives greater detail**
