That's an unfair appraisal on both counts. 4/20/2006 12:04:21 AM |

I'm going to try to setup bootcamp on the demo apples we'll have in the bookstore. Anyone know the cheapest place to get a legitimate full version copy of windows XP? It has to be legitimate because our managers won't let me install pirated shit. Sadly, we get no discounts on FULL installs of MS operating systems and the bookstore only has a windows 2000 site license for our machines. 4/20/2006 12:18:17 PM |

I don't beleive we can use those. Our managers don't want us violating the specific EULA and I think those copies are only to be used by students for their machines. This machine is technically a machine for resale. 4/20/2006 12:23:14 PM |

Just use Windows 2000, then. It gets the point across. 4/20/2006 1:10:04 PM |

Are there any tricks to getting it to work with windows 2000? The bootcamp website specifically says only windows xp home or pro. 4/20/2006 1:27:54 PM |

Oh, oops. I got it confused with Parallels Workstation Virtualization. That is, I forgot Boot Camp was limited to XP. If it can be made to work with 2000, some internet nerd will figure it out. 4/20/2006 10:27:47 PM |
