^ We'll be fine dude. Mario was a 3-star recruit. Look at him. The defensive coaches at NCSU are fantastic... I do miss herring though...

Its nice to read articles about NC State players without someone bashing them or the school every once in a while isnt it?
^you wont miss herring for long. We did just as well in the second half of the season without him defensively. Aparently he cant recruit worth shit, so we'll be better off in the long run. Defensively as a coach, you dont get much better than chuck....he just doesnt know shit about offense.

its a slim possibility but we could actually get 3 first round picks
mario is a lock for top 5, if not top 3...manny should go 1st round as well...who knows about mccargo
yet we still went 7-5 last year...oh well 4/19/2006 3:04:39 PM |

hell no mario wasn't a 3-star recruit, you're probably thinking of manny
mario was one of our top targets that year
he even said as a freshman that he'd only be here 3 years before going to the nfl

I'm hearing second day for Hudson, and if he impresses some people he could move to late first day. TJ has been slipping since the season ended.
Hudson is getting hype because he has experience as a corner and a safety, but he's not great at either. I personally think he's an ideal corner skill wise, but he's a step slow for the NFL. He was by far our best last year...and remember, he had two interceptions in the only game he played without a cast on his arm.
They say he's ok at safety also, but he takes a lot of false steps back there. 4/19/2006 3:12:45 PM |

i hope TJ gets a chance to prove himself
...or at least make up for the shitty Senior Bowl (?) game 4/19/2006 3:15:25 PM |

and a shitty second half of the season.
The man could do no wrong for a season and a half, then it looked like he lost focus. 4/19/2006 3:26:18 PM |

TJ will definitely get drafted
but not on the 1st day 4/19/2006 3:35:49 PM |

if he could magically grow a pair of hands between now and the draft he could be drafted on the first day, but if he doesnt, his name will be called on sunday 4/19/2006 3:36:40 PM |

but one of those potential first rounders only played a few games.
I think its funny that they were saying that mario having 13 sacks in a season was a lot. But the reality is that those 13 sacks came in like half a season. Why oh why couldn't he have been as dominant all season long?
is there still any talk of Tulloch being drafted? Or does it look like he's gonna have to go the free agent route and prove himself in camp?

Last I heard Tulloch was still rated higher than Hudson, but Hoyte had jumped up to the top 5 ILB's 4/19/2006 4:03:12 PM |
