I've done amateur photography for about a year now, and have had several different particular shoot settings and outfits, etc, in mind. I have a couple models from model web sites interested in working with me on a couple of those ideas, but haven't quite come across someone suitable for this one. I'm slightly pickier with this idea since it's my favorite of the bunch.

I basically am dying to conduct a photo shoot of the model in high fashion, with industrial/architectural backdrops. I'm talking dresses/gowns primarily. I work with an experienced makeup artist who is also very good as a stylist (both hair and clothes), and she would be present as well.

The website is for a fundraiser I hope to get off the ground in the future, but am just too busy to devote enough time to at the moment.

There isn't any financial reimbursement because I'm broke, although I'd love to be able to do so. It's called TFP - Trade For Print. The model and photographer both contribute time in exchange for something to add to their portfolios. TFP is the primary method for amateur models and photographers when first building their portfolios. I would give the model a set of regular prints, picture CD, and an 8x10 of her choice. I would also touch photos up if the model so chose.

Please PM me if you have further questions, or if you want to see more of my work, etc. Please spread this to any friends or acquaintances you believe would be interested. It helps (a lot) if the model has some possible formalwear for the shoot, but we can work on those details later.

The exceptions to financial reimbursement include:
1) A photo of the model is sold via a display (I've shown work at Cup A Joe before, so smaller venues like that are feasible).
2) If the photo is part of the collection used to advertise the fundraiser, in which case I would feel obligated to give some payment to those models that helped make the fundraiser a success (I'm aiming for late summer/early fall now for the fundraiser).
3) I win the lottery
4) I get the job I appleid for = waaaay better income.

For your gallery: if you're anal about spacing, set maximum widths and heights for the thumbnails; NEVER FUCKING EVER ALLOW ASPECT RATIOS TO CHANGE.

some of these photos are decent, amateur but still marketable. You should consider throwing a few of them out on istockphoto.com - if any sell well, you could pull in a couple hundred for a few of the good ones.

downside is... it's a pretty open license. depends on how much you want to "give" away.

Yeah I had a little trouble at first with the thumbnails as you probably noticed, and haven't had time to fix them all

I use a 35mm film Canon Rebel T2.
