Theres a new thread on IGN stating they made an error in regards to the plays in the 360 version. They said that while all the trick plays won't be in it, they will expanded regular playbooks, and 21 formations per team instead of 12 on the current gen version. I think the lack of trick plays will help people from 'cheesing' online.

Yeah, I'm thinking this will have much more life than Madden on the 360. The previews say it's got a huge list of play-by-play commentary and much tighter animations. "It's not just a visual upgrade of Madden with a college feel." And am I the only one who doesn't really care if they leave out some features?? I think regular season and dynasty games will keep me playing for a while. Madden just got old in a hurry.

I wouldn't bother shelling out $60 for a next-gen game where the gameplay is worse off than the same game on a lesser system. To me, it makes the game feel incomplete, and that they're just hashing it out there for the sake of money (which is blatantly obvious). As badly as I want a sports game for the 360, I know I'll have to force myself to wait until at least the 2nd or 3rd release comes out, when they finally get their act together and bring a package of a game worth my $60

I felt the madden for 360 was lifeless as well. I wish the play calling system was the same as normal madden.

dude, its marcus hudson. They do this every year. The early builds dont have the updated rosters because rosters are the last things they put on the games. If you see in that video, QB #19 for FSU is sacked. Guess who that is? Wyatt "God" Sexton who isnt even on the team anymore. #1 in that vid for NC State is Marcus Hudson not John Dunlap. Dunlap plays offense anyways
