I will make this brief as possible, but I do need help.

Took the car in knowing it may fail inspections due to headlight issues, and stupid me did not roll down my tinted windows. Well I failed just because of my window tint. It has always been the legal tint limit and has passed in the past. the inspector told me the guy prob didn't know what he was doing or that my tint got darker over the past year. He told me I needed to get it removed.
thats not an option I want to take b/c i know that cost money too.
opions?

I was thinking of getting it reinspected somewhere else and pay the fee for it all over again and just leave the windows down and pull the fusses out.

well they test your tint based on light passing through it. if your windows are down, they'll roll em up. i dont think anyone else can tell you failed an inspection.

you're a girl, this oughta be simple. bat the eyelids, wear a low cut shirt and a skirt and go somewhere where the dude at the counter looks like he hasnt gotten any in a while. that, or slip him a 20.

all you have to do is ask them. most of the time they'll be pretty lenient and let you slide if its just windows. make sure you ask them ahead of time though... the worst they can say is no.

You will want to go somewhere else to get it inspected. The inspectors, depending on location want to do as little work as possible so putting your windows down can work.

all you gotta do is roll down the windows, pull the fuse for the power windows, and tell em that your windows are broken if they try to roll em up

you cant fail inspection for no side windows

getting it reinspected else where is a bad idea. i failed a person one time and called dmv and they flagged her tag- meaning when she went else where and they passed it they would take her tags and lic. for 6 months and shut the ncsi station down for 6months as well. just take your tint off with a razon blade its free. you have 30 days anyway.

just go to a family friends place or either go get tint remover and a razor blade, the second option will prob be cheaper and less trouble
its not that much work to put tint back on if its a small car

i never even bothered to check the tint on the windows, i just passed all cars anyway. go to precision tune on western, they should be lazy there. and yea, roll them shits down.
