6:48pm - Arrived in Boston after getting traded from San Diego
7:00pm - Arrived at Fenway Stadium in uniform
7:02pm - Arrived to Red Sox clubhouse
7:13pm - Caught first pitch from the one and only knuckler king, Tim Wakefield

Now that's what I mean by working on a tight schedule!

[Edited on May 1, 2006 at 9:08 PM. Reason : Damn, I must be retarded.... it's Doug Mirabelli]

I'm not sure, so don't quote me on this...

But I think his name may be doug.

and it is possible that you may be insulted for calling him dave.

but probably not.

So a man makes an honest mistake, and then I lose all sports talk credibility? 'You guys' are harsh! Go look at my posts over the years I've been on TWW. I don't post useless bullshit like 90% of the people up here.

no one can catch the knuckle... that pitch is unpredictable.

^ Except for Mirabelli, Maybe that's why they traded to get him back from San Diego.

Also, You hear about the glove? He left his glove at Fenway for Bard when he got traded, then when the trade went back the other way, Bard left the glove back for Mirabelli.

^^ it's true, it was on espn last night. The cops drove him from the airport to fenway. And I saw an interview with mirabelli and he was talking about being butt naked in the back of a cop car

it was all over ESPN.. The Red Sox had a private jet pick him up in San Diego, fly him to Boston, and a Police escort to the stadium.

Mirabelli told ESPN after the game that the Police cruisers were going almost 100mph to get from Logan to Fenway.

^yeah but not with the real quick guys. He's still got that blistering 78mph fastball he can throw. He'll do alot of pitchouts.
