Impaired consent is no consent...

Bottom line, don't have sex with drunk bitches, they can always claim rape.

why doesn't this law, & ones like it that imply women are weaker, bother women more? saying they are the only sex able to be mentally impaired by alcohol, they are the only sex that can be raped (men can only be sexually assaulted - a lessor offence legally), they are the only sex thats not required to sign up for the draft, they are the only sex banned from the special forces, etc

^ I always figured it was like how affirmative action victimizes minority groups. Even if it does this, because those laws are an advantage to those groups, most people who are receiving benefits from them will just ignore the implications of the laws and go on with their lives. Ignorance is bliss, I guess.

women are ok with the double standard when it benefits them.

yep. If the double standard helps them, fuck equality. They don't really want that anyway. They just want it to where they have all the "good rights" that men have, not "all rights" that men have.

With rights comes responsibility.

this is just a thought/question...when did the law get revised that stated if a woman was drunk/had alcohol in her system that it was considered rape b/c she's not of sound mind to give consent? i'm wondering if it coincides with the rise of date rape drugs.

i don't think that a law saying "if you're drunk, your judgement is impaired" implies weakness, it's true of both sexes. for instance, i'm pretty sure if you sign a contract when you're drunk or drugged, it's not legally binding.

what?? no. the law doesn't imply that. men get DUIs, too.

i'm pretty skeptical of the truth of this statement. i bet if you were sodomized against your will, you could press rape charges.

Nope. In North Carolina, you can only be raped through the pussy. Everything else is sexual assault.

c. The person commits the offense aided and abetted by one or more other persons.

(b) Any person who commits an offense defined in this section is guilty of a Class B1 felony.

You still don't know shit about women or college. Getting drunk and doing stupid shit is pretty common. Most girls' reactions: "Man, I drank too much. Never gonna do that again." But for some reason, themetr0, you're asserting that all girls claim rape in this situation. That's just not true. Don't be a fool.

I don't think anyone else noticed this but...I wonder if they seized liquor or liqueur like the article says, cause if the latter is the case then that was one faggoty ass party.

if they had seized liquor and liqueur than that's one thing, but it only says liqueur

then again I realize it's not like they put every single thing in the article, but you get my point

I did not know jaeger was considered a liqueur, that's interesting

wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong

the bottom line here is to never do anything ever
that's just asking for trouble

thats actually the useless gist of the false rape claim

if you win, so what? some guy gets put in prison and turned into a truly dangerous individual

and if you don't win, chances are you've hit the fucking jackpot.

Aside from the possible change in moods or simply changing her mind that leads to fake rape accusations being at it's core nothing more than a malicious "i could get away with it" type of mentallity.. aside from how disturbing that is, what's ten times more disturbing is the fact that there is NO way change the outcome of these situations.
There simply isn't any better way of doing things.
The only tool left would be to discourage and "sorta hint at" the fact that falsly claiming rape is absolutely just as bad as commiting rape. Which it is.
And the mere suggestion of this would be attacked by the high-financed special interest groups to whom the mass media have already surrendered.
And we've seen first hand here within just this last week how much impact media portrayal and spin can "effect" their own justice system, into which, Law, Reason and a sense of "right and wrong" are ALL subjigated

not true at all. The law is pretty complex to get into but its definitely not a way to get out of contract law easily
