You mean just the little xtal crystal right dan? I have tons of em, I'm pretty sure as high as 20mhz though I am not 100% certain.

to get to the $20 threshold, order up resistor and capacitor kits. They will be the items you'll most likely get some use out of. Or perhaps some 5 and 12v linear regulators.
