these 2 seem to be in great health. kinda skinny but i'm putting weight on them. no sign of fleas. nor worms in stools (but you cant tell 100% that way).
dewormed once
frontline application
flea/tick bath

for those of you who havent seen the thread in the Lounge:

i rescued them from a kill shelter - franklin county animal control in louisburg
they were going to be put down on friday (along with 16 other dogs that did)
i along with other great girls routinely pull puppies and dogs from this shelter and foster them and find them homes.
we've pulled 14 puppies in 3 months.

i havent put them into a foster program and they havent been to a vet yet so they're free right now as long as you can guarantee a great home.

once they enter a foster program and/or i take them to the vet myself there will be an adoption fee.

i live in raleigh off lake wheeler. if you'd like to come see them let me know and we can set up a time.

for everyone who was interested in the yellow lab puppy i had.
there is an identical looking female at the same shelter. she looks purebred.
she's available next monday for adoption (free). i can give you directions to the shelter. about 35 min from raleigh.

there's also 2 8 wk old lab mix puppies that are available now.

along with 2 shep mix pups. one is black with a white spot - little female. (runt of the litter) and the other looks like a shepherd (boy i believe). available now.

the 2 shep mixes will probably be put down tomorow if no one rescues them.

plus a bunch of other dogs.

the home the golden retriever, "Lucy", went to didnt work out so she's looking for another home

if you are interested and can give her a great FOREVER home please pm me.

dont get a puppy or any animal for that matter on impulse. puppies are work and consider how much time you have to spend with her, the vet bills (ranging from $400-$700 for a dogs first year of shots and spay/neuter).

i hate to see dogs shuffled around from multiple homes. this one already went from the shelter to my house to someone to someone else and back to me. (all within a week and a half)

she hasnt been to a vet yet. i dewormed her and gave her a flea/tick bath.
