OK. Programming some stuff into a universal remote, but I can't find useful codes for a couple of things.
-I have a Scientific Atlanta cable box (Time Warner Digital), and there's no code listed for that brand. Anyone know what the correct code is?
-Can a Playstation 2 be controlled with a universal remote? None of the Sony DVD codes seem to work, and game systems aren't listed (Xbox is listed under DVD players...)
Hopefully someone's done this before and can help. Thanks! 5/7/2006 8:49:09 PM |

have you tried/is there a the search function?
on some remotes you can manually program: point another remote and program key for key...can yours do that?
if neither of those options work then i doubt you'll be able to do it 5/7/2006 10:17:43 PM |

I looked in the manual (yes, I actually had to read it) and there doesn't seem to be a search function. Damned inconsiderate thing to have left off.
And I didn't realize the IR receiver came with the remote like it does on the xbox. Crafty bastards. 5/8/2006 12:09:59 AM |
