when i try to post a ch 101 intro to molecular science book it brings up a math book (calculus and its applications). When i try to add a new book(ISBN) it says the connection to the library couldnt be opened.

You're not supposed to actually attempt to use the Books tool. It's merely another bullet on the features list.

it used to work really well, but for a few years now we've just had a bunch of stuff that used to be on there just break without anyone fixing it.

I can say, however, that I've still had luck with selling books through it after people mostly stopped using the school tool. Kind of eliminates competition.
