Name says it all
Though Im in no way a baseball guy, nor does it interest me much, one of my dad's coworkers was telling me that the Red Sox were interested in Albert Pujols (sp?) I told him that was ridiculous, couldn't find anything online about it... any truth to this?

Don't think theirs anyway Pujols is going anywhere in the next 7-8 years. Could be wrong though. You can probably pencil him in as a Cardinal for atleast the next 3 years. 5/10/2006 8:48:15 PM |

I heard Jordan Collins saved a kid by pushing him out of the way of an oncoming bus. 5/10/2006 8:49:49 PM |

The idea that the Cardinals would let Pujols leave (either through a trade or FA) is absolutely ridiculous. The only way he is ever leaving St Louis is if he gets tired of playing there and demands a trade. St Louis is a great franchise that will pay Pujols whatever he wants to stay. 5/11/2006 12:00:34 PM |

remember how they said baseball's new economic landscape would never produce another A-Rod size contract (10yr @ $20+MM per year)...
yeah, Pujols was a rookie then...
8 years / 200 million is not out of the question for his next contract 5/11/2006 12:03:37 PM |

Pujols just signed a 10 year deal dumbasses.
He is NOT leaving Stl. I would like to remind you that St. Louis has had the best record in MLB over the last two years and have a budget of almost $80 million thanks to their attendance.
Lock this stupid thread. And don't bring shit to the table when you don't know what you are talking about. 5/11/2006 12:10:51 PM |
