Ok so I'm not sure what the title of the thread should be. And hell if I know if I can explain it properly so here goes..
I am running a shoutcast station on my Slackware box, the station consists of my am/fm stereo receiver connected to my PC through the Line In on my PC. It works fine as is, the only problem is I am forced to listen to the station its on. Is there an program available that will read the input from the line in and have a interface so I can change the station if I am listening to it remotely?
I have seen products like the Shark but I really don't want to go buy any extra hardware unless it's the last resort. Plus Ive seen bad reviews on it.
Is this even possible? I swear I saw some software about a year or so ago that would do this but now I can't seem to find anything.

What makes you think you could change the station with your setup? The line in will only give you audio, not audio and control capabilities.
Why not just get a tuner card capable of doing FM?
