^^ guard rails are specifically designed to do that. They buckle a LOT to absorb the energy of the crash, and are supposed to buckle away from the road (and thus away from other cars on the road). It wouldn't take a crazy/unusual crash to make the rail look like that. The rest of the stuff though . . . I dunno

another thing is that men get into "normal" crashes (rear end, sideswipe, whatever). women end up in unbelieveable shit like you see above.

i got rear ended a few weeks ago by a chinese woman on a cell phone on 9th st in uptown charlotte. I was driving through in traffic to a freind's condo. Came to the stop light on tryon. stopped. 30 seconds later, bam. I pull forward to look at the carnage if any. A scratch on the bumper from her. I tell I don't really give a shit and then she say's, "what about ME?".
