There is a position open with Terracon, an engineering firm, in Greenville, NC. If anyone has any experience with running dirt density tests or has an engineering degree I'm sure you could get this easlily.

Anyone interested just let me know.

I'm sure if you were interested you at least have a degree. They can train you to run the tests...not too hard.

You'll be working around 50 hrs. a week, overtime being paid time & 1/2...with the overtime pay, it would be above 30 K a year

After taxes you'd bring home less than $11/hour.

No, but generally speaking jobs that require an engineering degree pay slightly more than I was making in high school.

i have an ag. business degree & worked for the NCDOT for a year, so I had experience, but they are really in need of people I believe...so an engineering degree isn't necessary.

I believe they were in need of a geotech engineer also.

Everyone here knows that the only reason to have a job is to make as much money as you possibly can.
