so i was wondering if it is possible to play a wmv file on the ncsu space. I was able to put up a .MOV file but whenever i try a wmv file winamp will open but it never plays.
my code is <a href="MOVIE.wmv">Movie</a> anyone know what im doing wrong?

^ rofl agreed. the file is an wmv file. I am saying i have successfully done it with a .MOV file

yea my bad (after reading OP more carefully)

are you wanting to link to it, or embed it in a tiny player window within the page?

i put one of the iraqi beheadings on my webspace and embeded it onto tww one time but someone got all upset so i had to take it out

files on NCSU webspace are case-sensitive

so if you have the file on your webspace as MOVIE.WMV and you are trying to dl MOVIE.wmv, it won't work
