In the past, I seem to remember it falling in the first week or two of July. They don't give a horribly long turnaround on it - even if you're traveling/studying abroad, make sure you check your email at least once a week and take the info you'll need to complete the online form (registration card for your vehicle). My best friend was out of the country a few years ago when the email came and timeframe (it's like ten days) passed, and transportation told her she was simply out of luck in terms of getting a permit and should have figured out a way to check her email.

see, my reasoning is- academic summer just started- "actual" summer hasn't begun (6/21)so we're dealing with early summer or not-yet-summer, neither of which corresponds to mid/late summer.

I posted where it tells you it's broken, and you've seen it.

For ambrosia, I'm glad that, though critical, you are still willing to be helpful or informative. That said, some people don't have a lot of time for the internet, others realize that the NCSU website is not always 100% accurate, and some just figure it might be easier to ask those with more experience in the situation. I've read a couple of your posts and you seem to occasionally be fairly crass in responding to others with questions that you assume everyone should have the answer to. While you may understand many of the nuances of NCSU, it may take others a little more time, or a question. People will be a lot friendlier to you if you take the time to be a bit more polite to them.As for the actual topic, I think your questions have been answered, if you need any more help, feel free to ask.

6/7/2006 8:46:55 PM
is EM the centinnial park and ride?
6/7/2006 9:48:18 PM
^No.From http://www2.acs.ncsu.edu/trans/parking/index.html:Recommendation:*Designate the greater west lot parking area as EM (currently "E") *Designate the "fringe" areas of Centennial Campus as EC (currently "E") *Redesignate entire MRC deck as B, C, DD, DC for consistency with the Partner's Way deck *Absorb the current Centennial Campus Park and Ride Lot into the EC designationSo basically the "West Lot" will now be "EM" and the new "EC" designation will be for what is now the Park and Ride on Centennial and the E lots behind Toxicology and Partners II.[Edited on June 7, 2006 at 9:55 PM.
