Anybody have their old coursepack for BUS 225? I was out of town when we could get the notes from Huggard so I am SOL with getting it from the TA.

yeah. i have taken huggard's 225, 305 and 425 through DE. Needless to say I have heard every joke he tells 3 times. and in every class he tells it verbatim.

I have found that what works best is waiting till right before then exam. like start watching the videos about 1-2 weeks before the exam-and just watch them all day long (takes me like 3-4 days to watch them all)...and do the essay questions after you watch each segment of the class. You can look at the review pages for each section if you want but it is basically the same thing as the essay questions and kindof a waste of time.

The best part about the online class (especially for 225) is the HUGE curve. there are a bunch of lazy people in the online classes and his curve is set up to give the top 20% A's no matter what their actual grade is on the exam. I think I had a pretty high grade on the final in 225, like a 90 or so, then in 305 I got an 83 (I think this was the highest grade), and in 425 I got an 87. In all 3 classes my grade was curved to an A+.

the notes are the same, well at least they were in 2002 and 2004 i just wrote down a few side notes in the margins of the printed packet and went to all the classes. I didn't think it was that hard to get an A in, not sure what an A+ will take though

usually the only parts of the notes that change are the tax rates or retirement contribution limits that change year to year.

spend extra time on the course essays if you take it d.e. you get extra credit if they are well written. and the A+ is based off of how you perform against the class, so it kind of depends on how your peers do. if you are at the top, you will get the A+, or if you are near the top and get the extra credit you should get an A+.
