hell of a race! best finish ive seen in a while. Sucks for Danica that the caution came out but thats just how it goes. I still dont understand why everyone is still questioning whether or not she belongs in racing just b/c she hasnt won. Their are a shit load of people who havnt won and they arent questioned about whether they should be racing or not.

What a great race! I thought for sure Marco had it after Hornish backed off on the next-to-last lap from passing him. I only started to realize Hornish could pass Marco in the short chute between 3 and 4. "Hey, he's really closed up on him."

I had gone to 4 of the last 5 Indy 500s but decided to stay down here this year and watch the 500 and 600 on TV. After yesterday, me and the people I go with decided to go ahead and buy tickets for next year.

There's a great picture in the Raleigh News & Observer today showing the Andretti family after Marco got passed at the line. On the far left is a blonde with her mouth wide open. That's Jamie Little, one of the ABC pit reporters.

You got to hand it to Marco. He ran a great race with no problems when most people thought he was being thrown to the wolves. However, it's probably better for his career that he did not win the Indy 500 at 19, in a kind of way that it keeps the drive in him to win.
