I no longer need this projector so its just collecting dust. Bought 1.5 yrs ago for $899+. With it comes a retractable DaLite Glass Bead screen ($225 at time of purchase). I can get the dimensions of the screen if anyone is interested. I ran the projector to create an 85 inch diagonal screen when watching non widescreen format dvds. Picture quality is damn good in HD and with DVD's. I was pleased. Im asking $700 for the set. I can take pics of the unit if needed.

i guess on tww $500 is a steal. spent close to $1200 on this setup 1.5 yrs ago. the bulb has recently been replaced, and the screen is flawless. i posted $700 cause i knew i would be lowballed on here and i figured 700 was a fair starting price. I believe $500 would be a steal for the person purchasing this unit. as it is $500 is still my highest offer.

i guess youre right Quinn, i dont know a whole lot about projectors. I just know this projector worked well for me and what i was using it for. I no longer need it and figured i would see if anyone could use. Ive just moved on to better things now, namely my new 42" plasma. Glad youre Mr a/v on here and know everything. btw why is 500 such a damn steal?

A) its TWW
B) its a projector which are more susceptible to burnout/dimming etc
C) craigslist or ebay is where you sell stuff if you want close to reasonable money back... TWW classifieds are a bastardized attempt at an open market... Lowballing is a way of life

I guess you don't understand. It's been 2 months since he posted the $500 part. The value has risen since then. Don't you understand inflation?

I BID NINE THOUSAND DOLLARS!

OP has still yet to fess up to how many hours the bulb has been ran.

That number (and pretty much so that number alone) is the determining factor between the value being $100 or $500.

If the bulb has 1000+ hours on it, this thing is worth $200 tops. + $50 for the screen.

Buyer beware.

will try to remember to plug it in tonight to see how many hours have been used.
