So I just turned on my iPod and got this symbol and then i went to apple's website and followed this support document http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=61771 and it says to try and restore the ipod but my computer won't see the ipod. Tried resetting it and everything. Anybody have any other suggestions before I break down to get a new mp3 player 6/3/2006 5:41:43 PM |

Take it to the Apple Store (Southpoint) and they can definitely help you out. 6/3/2006 5:47:02 PM |

I talked to the tech support guy today and he told me that usually when that happens that it means it needs to be worked on which is $30 for shipping and $250 to fix it so I'm probably just gonna end up buying a new one. 6/3/2006 10:34:28 PM |

Haha, 250? When a new ipod video is 269 with no shipping cost? That's nuts. 6/4/2006 3:56:26 AM |
