tiny little guy... 12.1 monitor... best specs i can find for something this small... i really don't like the shiny monitor trend (GLARE) though, any better options?
what do you think? good buy? PROS/CONS?

damn that looks good. i love the small, lite-weight line Dell has. i have the 700m and i think it's awesome for what it does. 6/7/2006 10:35:45 PM |

it's a portable device...I wouldn't call it a laptop...but it's hot as hell...I could see using it a lot in between my bedroom and living room or on travel. 6/8/2006 1:04:42 AM |

The X60 is a nice ultralight with a non glossy screen. Only real downside is that you have to use an external optical drive. If you're interested, the bookstore should have pricing in about a week or two.
The x41 tablet is a nice tablet, but if you want something with decent price/performance you'll be paying a lot more for the "tablet" features than anything else. 6/8/2006 2:21:59 PM |

I have a Dell L400 I use as my bookbag comp for school. I bought it off Ebay for $250. Its 700 mhz 30GB HD, runs Windows XP and has wireless internet with a PMCIA card. It has a 12" screen and the thing is tiny (3 lbs). 6/8/2006 2:35:27 PM |
