new album - "Ganging Up On The Sun"
June 20, 2006

sounds about like their last cd. if you liked it, you definitely should pick this one up. my favs are the more upbeat ones: manifest destiny, c'mon, the captain, hang on

Well most of their CDs are really similar. I may or may not check this out- I've become ambivalent about Guster.

I think it's more of a "co-headlining" show, but Ray is playing first....

and the CD is pretty good

i preordered my copy a couple months ago when they had some offer of the first 500 preorders get their copy autographed. it was only 10 bucks also, but unfortunately i'll have to wait a couple extra days cause we havent invented a teleporter yet.

got free tickets for a guster show on a harbor cruise in the san diego bay this thursday, should be pretty sweet

haven't heard the new album yet though, except for one song on the radio ('one man wrecking machine,' apparently, just checked it out on itunes)

yeah, i have no idea why it's so expensive. they just had a free show at duke in april too, they were great (minus all the annoying wasted duke students). i think most of the shows at regency park are overpriced though, so i don't think it's the band's fault it's so expensive.

^ of course its the bands fault for being expensive. otherwise every concert would cost the same amount.

out of the ~15 shows this season at Regency Park, the Guster/Ray LaMontagne show is the 2nd most expensive

Bela Fleck is $40 + fees

Is it just me, or does Adam have very little vocal input on this last album?

yea just one song for him as the lead singer...i prefer ryan, but i like the usual variety. i was a little disappointed in that.

i agree. i love when they sing together, so i was dissappointed there was only one song with adam singing. i still like the cd overall, but it isn't their best

i really enjoyed guster's set... good booty shaking bongo beats.

however, we got there at 6:40-ish and somehow COMPLETELY missed the fruit bats. how did this happen?!?! who the hell starts a weekday show that early?
