^^ Why? Because we don't care about a sport that has basically no scoring, seems slow, and is only worth watching once every 4 years? Hockey doesn't have much scoring, but atleast the players are little bitches who fake falls and roll around like dogs with fleas when they get tripped.

We are trash, and once again, in an international competition, the U.S. fails to show up and/or show any enthusiasm.

I played soccer for 8 years as a kid/teen, I *LOVE* playing FIFA video games, but absolutely cannot get into any soccer match on TV.

It's main problem, IMO, is that it suffers from the same problem "old hockey" used to: NOT ENOUGH SCORING for Americans to like.

This is why you follow a club team and don't put all your eggs in the national basket.

Oh wait, the issue here is how footballers arent massive roid freaks or thugs that care more about bling than their team.

At least in this game, people keep moving the whole game and dont come up after every play choking for breath. Either that, or they sit and stare for 5 minutes before throwing the ball and then staring for another 5 minutes.

the real issue here is that we failed to fucking show up.
