My phone (Kyocera Slider) sucks. I need to get a phone to hold me over for the next month when I can get a cheap upgrade. Anybody have something cheap/decent?

have you tried a different charger? That happened to my phone once and it was because my charger died. Also you have like two months before you contract actually runs out to upgrade, just incase you didn't know.

yeah...i know that. my contract runs out in october, so the end of july is when i can get the upgrade. it doesn't hold a charge with either my car or home charger, so i'm kinda ruling out the charger crapping out. it just sucks.

It's the phone's internal charging circuit, not the battery or either of the chargers.

My dad's phone did the same thing. Kyocera phones are hunks of shit.

i think alltel just makes crappy phones. my mom, sister and i all have alltel and none of our phones hold a charge. even when it was brand new!

alltel doesn't actually make the phones. That is why the phones have brands like Nokia, Motorolla, Kyocera, etc.
