My friends massive lab has been known to scoop up Yorkie Puppies in her mouth and carry them around with their head sticking out.

hehe my parent's dog used to find baby chickens that had gotten out of their fence and pick them up, carry them to his doghouse, and lay them between their paws and keep them there until someone came and got them and put them back in the fence...he never once harmed one.
