i'm using BitPim and a USB cable and the connection works- uploading pics and such works fine. according to the numerous forums and google searches, the mp3 has to be compressed to an AAC format with an m4a extension. i've done this. the problem is the audio file does not show up in my phone. i've shrunk it down enough to where length and size are non-issue. (23 seconds at 74KB)
a few people have posed this question (using usb cable) but the question is never answered or countered with "uploading it to sprint and downloading it from there". i'd rather not do this as it costs money (guess that's the point ). anyone have any ideas?
my phone is a sanyo MM 8300

Try asking over at howardforums.com
They have specific forums for each carrier and cell phone maker.
I've personally only transferred files to my phone (Starcom PPC-6700 w/ Alltel) via Bluetooth just because it's easy, and Alltel doesn't limit their phones whatsoever. 6/30/2006 12:22:29 PM |
