I like Joe Daddy, though i think hes a tad overrated, Jeff Monson is a fuckingfreak of nature theres no way a musclebound hulk like him moves as smooth as he does he has the potential to be unstoppable

Josh Neer is gonna win because he is tough as hell

i would like to see the fights tho, im not familiar with all the fighters

i got ortiz over shamrock/sylvia over arlovski/burkman over neer (i think burkman is tough as hell)

i'm looking forward to seeing joe stevenson fight. it should be an easy win if he takes it right to the ground. the guy he's fighting is a 155lb. striker.

i never new they got the fights at hooters. might need to check that out next time.

i don't know...the stoppage may have been quick, but i don't see shamrock getting out of that so it just would have been ortiz pounding away at him for longer before the ref stopped it.

the ref has a tough job. obviously you don't want to stop the junk early, but he doesn't want to be semi-responsible for a fighter having serious damage done that could have been avoided by an earlier stoppage. yeah, they are ultimate fighters and that is what they agree to do...but its still a tough spot for the ref, IMO.

it was weak as fuck, stand up the entire time, more like a boxing match with like 10 kicks through 5 rounds, sylvia wins on decision. disappointing night overall, except for the first match, which was the bloodiest fight i've ever seen, too bad the doc's stopped it

Herb Dean HAD to stop the fight...Shamrock did not intelligantly defend himself after 5 or 6 brutal elbows to the head (and i mean BRUTAL). Good call IMO. Anyways it was still nothing more than a waste of hype. They need to give Tito a shot at Chuck again, now that would be a fight.

on its own, the ortiz stoppage seemed a good call, but if you've seen the first fight, that shit happened pretty much the whole time, and shamrock withstood.

shamrock was defending himself, he was switching position to get better anlges on from the elbows


defense does not fucking equal throwing your god damn hands up in front of your face or reaching for arms all the time

and sylvia v.s. arlovsky it didnt seem like either of them really wanted to be there, i think at the beginning they were pacing themselves to combat fatigue, which is ok, but as the rounds drew on neither of them wanted to make the mistake that cost them the fight

i dont think that was it at all, it was just that both of them had lost to the other off of an early, sudden, big hit, and they didnt want that to happen again, so they both pussed out.
