I want to scan a document, and then edit the text of the scanned document.

Anyone know of a program that would allow me to scan a document into editable text? I have tried Acrobat, but you can't edit the text.

it's called OCR

Optical Character Recognition.

Google it.

I have... But i still do not have a program that will do what I need to do.

Do you have a suggestion for a program?

if you have MS Office use Microsoft Office Document Scanning.

its under MS Office Tools in your start menu

Adobe has a text editor by default use the help menu.
