Does anyone know of any continuing education style technology classes that would be offered around here? For example, someone told me that places like CompUSA and Staples may offer short courses on things like Excel, PowerPoint, etc.... (I don't need those, but things similar to that)
Also, I have heard that sometimes community colleges and stuff will offer those kinds of courses, like Digital Photography and stuff, on a rolling basis. Basically, if anyone has had any experience with these or knows more, I would appreciate it. I am going to look around on the web, but I thought this would possibly tap into that vast resource of tech folks here. 7/12/2006 9:56:03 PM |

Google up for community colleges ... you'll get your information a lot quicker that way.
Othewrise, Greensboro is the corporate headquaters of New Horizons Training. They teach about anything and keep up to date with whatever the latest version of the software is. Their training sessions were a bit slow for me, but I think they were an appropriate level for about 80% of the other people in the classroom. Don't know how expensive/cheap they are, unfortunately. 7/13/2006 7:06:08 AM |
