It's not against their trademark or anything. They don't make it even look similar to google. I don't see why google would fight it. 7/17/2006 7:02:49 PM |

i still use google
and i love how in my address bar i just type 'g' and my search string and it automatically searches google
and in Safari, a plugin called Inquisitor gives you live as-you-type results 7/17/2006 9:06:21 PM |

Google remains clean and fast. Yahoo still has a cluttered interface. Ask.com isn't too bad, haven't used it much. 7/18/2006 5:36:00 AM |

I don't even type "g". I just type whatever in the address bar and it automatically googles it. I type w and whatever to wikipedia something, a and whatever to find an abbreviation, i and something to google image, and d and something for the dictionary.7/18/2006 5:27:38 PM |

That pretty much sums up my views on it. Even GMail is neat and clean. I love the simply neat interfaces for all of Googles products.7/18/2006 7:26:33 PM |

avant browser lets you choose your search engine for your integrated search bar...it also has a drop down (the default search is "search web") that lets you select images, groups, directories, or news 7/18/2006 7:28:46 PM |
