I think there's a problem with the TWC box where it doesn't put sound out through the HDMI.
You just have to run the red/white audio cables to the audio input corresponding to the HDMI port on your TV. 7/29/2006 1:11:17 PM |

I finally figured it out...On the TWC box you have to go under setting and put the audio on HDMI it's originally set for the red and white cable input. Thanks for all the help. 7/29/2006 2:25:33 PM |

TWC boxes have problems with digital sound in general. On optical and HDMI sound I get breaks in the sound (fairly often) on surround sources such as TNTHD or UHD. Everyone I know with the same box has the same issue.

Ocassionally with the SA 8300 non-HD box, our digital out will stop working all of sudden. The only way I have been able to get it back is to reboot the box. 7/29/2006 5:00:47 PM |
