Jarrell Miller, an incoming freshman linebacker, has left summer school because of "family concerns" and will not enroll at North Carolina this fall, the school announced Friday. "Jarrell and his family have some issues to work through,'' UNC coach John Bunting said in a prepared statement. "Right now, it is better if Jarrell goes home to Highland Springs [Va.] and then attends Fork Union Military Academy in August. We look forward to Jarrell rejoining the program in January."
Miller's father, John, reiterated in a statement that Jarrell would return to Chapel Hill in January.
Miller, 6 feet 3 and 235 pounds, was rated a four-star recruit by Scout.com. 7/29/2006 11:49:41 AM |
