Not good shit to fix radiator leaks. pressure pops it loose. Just wait; only a matter of time before it pops it.
It's as good as an epoxy can get. Which ain't all that 7/30/2006 4:43:22 PM |

if you have an aluminum radiator (which you should, i hope) you can get a tub of Lab Metal and patch it. Might be a little more expensive than JB weld, but it will last forever. 7/30/2006 4:59:46 PM |

I'm tellin yall, check out Lab Metal. This stuff has saved my ass before. Patch it, let it harden and it's just like new, fully machineable, withstands up to 350F. 7/30/2006 7:05:11 PM |

It's at the top of the radiator right below the neck. I'm not real worried about it. I haven't had any problems from the crack yet, I just noticed I was losin a little fluid so I checked that mufucker. 7/30/2006 7:43:24 PM |

i wouldn't use it on a radiator. too much riding on that. I've had success using it on other stuff. We had a really nice office chair at work but the armrests broke off, so they said I could have it for free. I just JB welded them back on and now it's my main computer chair. I also used JB weld on my shift knob in the beater to keep it on (cut the threaded part off the shift lever to make the infamous Mk III supra ghetto short shift mod). 7/30/2006 9:41:48 PM |

There you go, I had the same problem in the CRX and fixed it the same way. No problems, the fix even held in the wreck.7/30/2006 10:01:07 PM |

I knew a girl who hit something and tore a hole in her oil pan. One of her friends pulled the pan, JB Welded it together, and she drove it for several years after that. 8/1/2006 10:09:28 AM |
