This is a really stupid question, but I just bought a sata drive, and I installed it... presumably. Should the sata driver appear alongside the hard drives on my computer, because I'm not seeing it listed?

I thought the SATA drives used the same driver as PATA drives (as in one driver works for both).

did u install any drivers? i had to update my mobo drivers when i installed the sata drives in my desktop so they would be recognized.
