^^ yuck.. oakland is shitty.

I love it out where I live in Concord/Walnut Creek.. The weather is PERFECT and the views are great too.. plus it's not a bad commute at all (5 mile drive, 30 minute train ride) right in to work in SF..

Eh, I don't know. I liked San Diego but I like the area I'm in a lot more. Only because I like a colder winter then San Diego has to offer and it gets down in the high 30's and 40's here... even snows a bit on the hills. Plus I love Lake Tahoe and I'm only 2 hours drive away here..

FWIW i HATED the Orange County/LA County area..

Eh, the Bay Area is closer to Yosemite Valley so I'm happy here rather than SoCal.
Though, Livermore sucks ass and I'm trying to decide whether to move to Berkeley or not.

^ livermore does suck, i'm working at the lab for a few months -- subletting a place in oakland, though, so i wouldn't be stuck out in the middle of nowhere

yeah, see, i hate cold weather so 75 and sunny year round works great for me -- if only the water was a bit warmer, san diego would be perfect (for me, to each their own)

another san diegoan here. in the mission hills area. 3 miles from downtown, 4 miles from the airport, 8 miles from the beach, and 6 miles from my job. i love the weather. i grew up in orange county, so it feels similar but less spread out.
