2000 yards my ass
not when he loses one of the best offensive linemen in the game and one of the best blocking fullbacks in the game and doesnt have priest to carry most of the load the first half of the season

And I would call you a complete idiot. he amassed amazing numbers in limited carries and limited starts
sure losing roaf will hurt, but Larry is one of the best backs in the league. 8/4/2006 4:27:50 PM |

I think he will be good, but lets just say that I feel releived I don't have a top 3 pick in fantasy and feel obligated to pick a back that just had 10 really good games, and may or may not have another good year. 8/4/2006 4:30:40 PM |

so what makes you think he can put up good numbers for a whole season in his first full season as the #1 back on a team8/4/2006 4:35:29 PM |

b/c its been done before by others, and KC is going to lean heavily on the run. 8/4/2006 4:36:43 PM |

Denver is just a system. They can produce 1000 yr backs like Anderson, Davis, Gary, etc because the OL is always built the same and Shanahan's scheme is always the same. KC is not necessarily the same. Losing Roaf and Richardson are huge and LJ has got some huge expectations to fill this year. Plus KC lost it's OC so whether or not Herman Edwards will stay a run focused team will be interesting. KC still has no WRs and Gonzalez is getting older and slower.
I'm not taking LJ #1 if I have the #1 pick. I'd take him at #3 over Barber or Portis, etc but not over LT or Alexander 8/4/2006 4:56:49 PM |

^grandmamma!
^^i would be hesitant of taking Gonzalez at TE this year too...he's gonna have to stay in and protect the QB and run block and not be able to go on pass routes as often 8/4/2006 5:00:17 PM |

HAHAHA
Ernie sucks.
$15 down the tubes!
the passing attack of the Chiefs will be affected much more than the run game. LJ's yards were about the same with Roaf in or out.
I just drafted LJ in one of my leagues earlier this week...
with the #3 pick! 8/4/2006 5:10:11 PM |

LJ will end the season as either the #1 or #2 ranked fantasy player overall. Unless he suffers a freakish injury.
That's obvious. 8/4/2006 6:23:52 PM |
