Some routers claim to disable the firewall, but in truth they are still enabled. Slightly annoying
My suggestion would be to see if you can use the software from the same internal network (i.e. another 192.168 IP address). If so, it's not a port forwarding issue, and you can move on other possibilities.
Also see if you can find the SysInternals tool TcpView. That helps determine whether anything is actually connecting or not. 8/7/2006 6:23:43 PM |
